Summer Olive Occasional Table by Smith Farms Wins Multiple Furniture Design Awards

 A few months back, Smith Farms unveiled our Summer Olive Occasional Table at the Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Since then, this table has received a good amount of attention from the professional design community. To date, the table has won multiple furniture design awards, including the following:

• New York Product Design Awards Silver Winner in the Furniture – Accent Tables Category
• Muse Design Awards Silver Winner in the Furniture Design – Tables Category
• Titan Innovation Awards Silver Winner for Innovation in Design, Furniture Design
• London Design Awards Gold Winner for Product Design – Furniture

When we started our custom furniture company, we never dreamed that our furniture would win national and international awards. We simply wanted to make unique, high-quality furniture for our clients locally (in the Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee area) and around the county. But we have to admit that it feels great to do both!

These competitions receive many thousands of entries from all over the world, and we are honored to be included among their award recipients! We believe this table stood out in the competitions because of its striking design and attention to detail. It has a rustic, yet refined look that is unlike anything else we’ve seen. It all started with a great slab of wood that we crafted into a unique piece that turns heads. However, it is still highly functional, with craftsmanship that makes it a sturdy table for everyday use. Wherever this table ends up—in a luxury home, a stylish office, or anywhere else—we’re sure it will be a great addition to the space.

You can currently find our Summer Olive Occasional Table on display at the Elevated Living Design Showroom in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We chose to house it there because the interior designers at Elevated Living work with high-end clients in the Mountain region of the United States. Many of the homeowners they design for currently choose to go with a “rustic elegant” style in their homes, and the Summer Olive Occasional Table would look amazing in this type of home! However, it would also work well in a modern home, a traditional cabin, or pretty much any home or office in need of a “natural” element. The showroom contains many other unique and beautiful items that were curated specifically for their types of clients.
