After our involvement with the Western Design Conference (WDC) in Jackson Hole last month, several opportunities have come about for our custom furniture company. As we mentioned in our last blog post, we got connected with an interior design company in Jackson Hole, Wyoming that is now displaying one of our pieces in their showroom. Another great connection we made was with Jill King, who is the owner of The Scout Guide in Jackson Hole, WY.
If you aren’t familiar with The Scout Guide, it’s a company that champions small businesses by promoting them in their beautiful, local publications and through their online directories. Each Scout Guide features local small businesses that provide quality goods and services. The publication is known for its gorgeous photography and for highlighting only the best small businesses in their respective areas. Many cities and metropolitan areas throughout the United States have their own Scout Guide.
Smith Farms was honored to be included in The Scout Guide, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Volume 10. A photo of one of our custom furniture pieces was included in a feature about the Western Design Conference. Our Claro Walnut live-edge coffee table was one of only nine pieces that were included in the feature.
While we were in Jackson Hole for the WDC, we were invited to attend The Scout Guide Jackson Hole Volume 10 launch party, which was attended by many other small business owners who were featured in this latest edition. The launch party provided us with an opportunity to connect with some great people in the Jackson Hole area and learn more about The Scout Guide’s passion for seeing small businesses thrive in the marketplace.
Smith Farms will also be featured in the upcoming edition of The Scout Guide, Bozeman, Montana as a featured artist at the WDC.
We’re excited for our work to be included in The Scout Guides, as their publications are beautifully designed and reach the exact audience we are trying to reach—people who appreciate quality products and service, and who see value in supporting small businesses.
